"The M" on Mount Zion is a symbol of Colorado School of Mines in Golden. It is lit up each night with hundreds of LED lights. This photograph was captured just after the lights were turned on, during a spectacular summer sunset.

I'm Connor Beekman, a landscape and wildlife photographer living in colorful Colorado. My images feature a variety of scenes including sandy beaches, mountain peaks, and urban skylines. I also enjoy capturing images of the diverse wildlife that I encounter during my travels. In addition to practicing photography, I work full-time as a civil engineer.
